Bob was born and raised on O'ahu although his Mother, Grandmother and Grandfather were all Maui Mirandas. After singing, playing lead guitar for and instrumentally arranging "We Five", the band that helped invent Folk Rock, Bob went on to sing and play drums with blues guitar legend Mike Bloomfield for ten years and record with him on five albums. During that time he also recorded with Harvey Mandel, Nick Gravenites, Mississippi Fred McDowell, Otis Rush and gigged with Charlie Musselwhite. In addition he also lead and recorded with his band "Southern Comfort". He has now returned to Maui and joined with Maui keyboard legend Les Adam and rhythm section veterans Mike Leone on bass and Randall Littleton on drums to continue in this soulful, funky, rockin' rhythm and blues tradition. Together they make up Bob Jones and Hard Drive. Don't miss'em.
